  • By registering for this option, you certify that you have attended a VEBA, Whitman Walker, National Center for Trans Equality, or TransLAW Name and Gender Marker Change CLE in the two years immediately preceding this Clinic.

Join VEBA volunteers and the Equality Alliance at W&M Law School for a day of service.

CLE and training for the clinic will be offered, with 2 hours of interactive Virginia MCLE credit.

The clinic will assist clients with name change applications, petitions for gender marker changes, birth certificate corrections, DMV and social security record updates, DD214s (military discharge records), and answering related legal questions. 

The Training will occur at Marshall–Wythe School of Law at the College of William & Mary, located at 613 S Henry St, Williamsburg, VA 23185. 

Enter the lobby, follow the signs to Room 127, and enjoy coffee and pastries before the training. Box lunches will be provided during the break before the clinic.

The Clinic will occur next door at the National Center for State Courts, located at 300 Newport Ave, Williamsburg, VA 23185.
